Service Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;font-size:12pt"><P STYLE="font-size:16ptmargin:7 0 7 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Watermaster Districts divide the state into 23 units to be managed by watermasters. Watermasters monitor streamflows and water levels and may cut off junior users to keep water flowing to senior users. They also implement other field work or enforcement within their district. List of watermaster contacts.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="font-size:16ptmargin:7 0 7 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>These boundaries generally follow hydrologic units, but not necessarily at the same hydrologic unit level (a mix of level 3, 4, and 5). They include portions of counties and Public Land Survey boundaries, too. Districts may be reconfigured to meet the current needs and resources of the agency.</SPAN></SPAN></P></DIV>
